On July 2nd, under the overall organization and leadership of the People's Government of Xiamei Town, expert groups from the local fire department visited our company to carry out a comprehensive fire emergency drill for the 2026 Work Safety Month. Centered on instruction on fire-fighting appliances and intelligent fire protection equipment, this drill adopted a combination of theoretical explanation and on-site practical operation. All participating employees showed great enthusiasm for learning, and all drill items were successfully completed.
The trainers conducted categorized equipment identification training tailored to the company’s workshop production, warehousing and office areas. On the one hand, they illustrated the applicable scenarios, storage standards and operation taboos of conventional firefighting equipment including portable fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, emergency breathing apparatus and fire hoses. On the other hand, they focused on popularizing the identification methods, alarm mechanisms and daily inspection requirements of intelligent fire alarm devices such as smoke detectors, temperature detectors and combustible gas detectors, and sorted out key fire prevention control zones within the workshops.
Practical operation constituted the core part of this activity. Firefighters demonstrated the whole process of putting out initial fires and conducting simulated alarm tests for detection equipment on site, and corrected non-standard operations one-on-one. All employees took an active part in hands-on drills in groups, finishing practical training tasks including putting out simulated fire sources, connecting fire hoses and verifying the functions of detectors. Everyone observed and studied earnestly, shared practical experience with one another, and proactively reviewed key points of equipment identification, creating a strong atmosphere of on-site learning.
Participants stated that this training helped them fill gaps in their understanding of intelligent fire-fighting equipment and master practical emergency response skills for fire incidents. The drill has effectively improved all staff’s fire safety awareness and on-site emergency handling capabilities. Moving forward, the company will incorporate fire equipment identification and emergency practical drills into regular safety training, and build an enterprise safety management system where all employees understand fire protection, can identify potential hazards and respond to emergencies properly.
